Here are 10 steps I always focus on because this is the core of your LinkedIn profile.

If you’ve nailed these, you’ll figure out 90% of LinkedIn success.

These are:

The Banner: Ask a question or show some results. It should be about what your audience cares about and wants to know more about. A bold statement with a CTA also works.
Profile Photo: Make sure it’s straight, chest up, 50% of your face, 30% of your body, and 20% negative space. A slight tilt to the left will look good.
The Headline: Try including 4 things: your identity, audience, mechanism (how you help), and the results you achieve. Focus on the audience and results; not on identity.
Featured Content: Don’t feature your best-performing posts. Instead, promote links that drive people to your funnel, like a newsletter signup, a quiz, or an e-book download.
Your Summary: Start with your audience’s pain point. Show them how you can solve it. Make it all about them, add testimonials, add a guarantee, and a confident call to action.
The Visuals: Make sure your banner, featured content, and posts are simple and clean. Use 2 fonts max, and 2 colors if you’re a beginner.
Content Strategy: Post content that aligns with the 4 elements: identity, audience, mechanism, and results. Share personal stories and opinions to build trust and credibility.
Your Keywords: Use your keywords in your public URL, banner, headline, profile summary, featured content, projects, and recommendations.
Services Page: If you have a services page, LinkedIn will show it on your posts right under your name and headline as Request Services, so make sure to complete it.
Extras: Your education, experience, and projects should align with your offer, audience, and results you promise in your profile. It’s all about marginal gains.

This isn’t just about looking good online; it’s about building authority, attracting leads, and driving success.
